BUILDING COMMUNITY VILLAGES
Successful villages are forged by healthy relationships.
That’s why it is so important that Village Circle Counselling connect to community to help build stronger support systems that can be shared with our clients. Community relationships are vital and can play pivotal roles in wellness journeys.
Village Circle Counselling connects with community by 1) collaborating with BIPOC entrepreneurs to create the Village Circle Wellness Box, 2) providing clients with additional resource lists that can help provide support/information between Village Circle Counselling sessions, and 3) making sure that a percentage of every service provided and every product sold by Village Circle Counselling goes to helping women who are unable to access mental health supports and services.
VILLAGE CIRCLE PARTNERSHIPS & COLLABORATIONS
Village Circle Counselling believes that wellness should be integrated within everyday life and incorporated into daily routines. That’s why we created our Wellness Box in collaboration with Black, Indigenous and People of Colour (BIPOC) female entrepreneurs and businesses who also celebrate wellness.
Partnering with these businesses not only provides clients with hand-crafted, local and artisan products that inspire wellness, but it also helps BIPOC businesses gain more visibility and recognition for their products. Collaborating with female BIPOC businesses supports local entrepreneurial livelihoods, shines a light on the importance of women in business, and enriches our clients’ wellness experiences.
15% of every purchased Village Circle Counselling Wellness Box goes to the Village Circle Community Jar to support women who face financial barriers to attaining mental health supports.

VILLAGE CIRCLE SUPPORT SYSTEM & RESOURCE LIST
Our village is your village. Village Circle Counselling has a growing list of resources and supports that our clients can access for additional assistance and/or information. We value the intricate knowledge and acute expertise of neighbouring programs and support groups that assist clients in addressing systemic barriers to wellness.
Engagement with these resources and supports can help encourage clients as they endeavour toward carrying out their personal work between our Village Circle Counselling sessions. For example, depending on what the nature of a clients’ mental health journey is, clients can be provided with a list of lawyers, food banks, women shelters, physical/exercise programs, financial advisors, wholistic practitioners, child/education supports, addiction programs, medical clinics, dentists, and child welfare information.
BUILDING STRONGER VILLAGE CIRCLES
In addition to offering various options and packages, 10% of service purchases and all purchased items will go toward the Village Circle Community Jar.
The Village Circle Community Jar is an initiative that was started to provide discounted or free services for women who face financial barriers to accessing mental health support services. If you would like to make a donation or to learn more about the Village Circle Community Jar, click on the Village Circle Community Jar button below.
After all, everyone deserves to feel supported and have access to good mental health support services!
