HOW CONFIDENTIAL IS THE INFORMATION?
We use PHIPA and College Compliant software to store your data to ensure that it follows provincial regulations and adheres to the College of Social Work regulations on safety and confidentiality.
We also use Zoom software for video conferencing to ensure that your information is encripted and remains confidential.
IS THERE A WAY TO GET A SENSE OF YOUR THERAPEUTICAL STYLE OR TALK TO YOU BEFORE I COMMIT TO PURCHASING SERVICES?
Yes, I offer a 20 minute free phone consultation so that I can answer any questions you may have prior to purchasing and booking services.
DOES MY INSURANCE COVER YOUR SERVICES?
As there are so many different kinds of insurance coverages, you would have to check with your insurance provider to see if your package provides coverage for psychotherapy. You will be provided with a receipt and your insurance provider will reimburse you if psychotherapy is covered by your plan.
WHAT IF I BUY A PACKAGE AND WE RESOLVE MY ISSUE BEFORE ALL THE ELEMENTS OF THE PACKAGE ARE USED UP?
Our packages are meant to encourage your connection to mental health supports at various stages in your mental health journey. If you reach your goals prior to finishing up all of the elements in your package, you will not have to pay the remainder of your package if you choose the option to pay a portion of the package fee prior to each session. DO I GET A TAX RECEIPT IF I DONATE MONEY TO THE VILLAGE CIRCLE COMMUNITY JAR?
You will get a certificate of purchase, but you will not be able to claim it for income tax purposes.
HOW DO YOU CHOOSE WHO GETS SERVICES FOR DISCOUNTED OR FREE?
Clients who are referred from overflow of other therapists, mental health organizations, churches/places of workship, community organizations and community centres are placed on a waiting list. We review each client on a case-by-case basis to see a) which services might be best given their situation and b) how best we can financially accommodate their mental health service needs.

We are currently connecting with clients on the following days and times:
Monday - Friday 5:30 pm - 8:30 pm
Saturdays 10 am - 4 pm
Sundays 1 pm - 4pm
CAN I TEXT, CALL OR VIDEO CONFERENCE WHENEVER I WANT?
All modes of psychotherapy are treated as sessions, so all modes of therapeutic delivery (phone calls and video conferencing) must be booked in advance to ensure that you have our complete attention.
CAN I TEXT YOU FOR TREATMENT IN THE CASE OF AN EMERGENCY?
No, as in the case of all emergencies, please contact 911.
